Whitest Kids U KnowStep aside Jamie Kennedy fans (if you exist) and Jews not named Sammy Davis Jr. (if you exist), because Trevor Moore, Sam Brown, Zach Cregger, Timmy Williams, and Darren Trumeter are the Whitest Kids U Know. The New York natives left no funny bones untickled at Lakeview's own Lakeshore Theater last Thursday.

If Monty Python lost some of her bloat and hooked up with Mr. Show, their bastard offspring would be the Whitest Kids U Know. The WKUK set themselves apart from their contemporary rivals through their unparalleled ability to balance what is with what was, using equal parts subtlety and absurdity.

Take for example a highlight of the night, "Abe Lincoln: The True Story" a sketch that parodies social stereotypes, butchers Hamlet, and hammers our 16th president in the ass-- all in about the same amount of time it took to read this sentence. I won't spoil any sketches, but I will say the WKUK come clean with what really happened to Honest Abe.

After the show, the guys stayed for a while and hung out with their fans. Timmy discussed his famous Timmy Dance [fun fact: the last time he did it was at an Obama rally], and Darren individually thanked each person who came to the show.

For all you witches and warlocks with your newfangled devil boxes, shake your black magic wands to summon the IFC channel Tuesdays at 10pm, and witness one of the greatest new comedy acts of the 21st century. And no, I'm not joking… they are.
