See Chicago Dances Launches New Website March 10

See Chicago Dance (SCD), celebrating 20 years as the most comprehensive resource for dance information in Chicago and one of the largest websites in the United States dedicated to the art form, is proud to announce the launch of its new website, SeeChicagoDance.com, Monday, March 10 at 12 p.m., in partnership with Photon Software

The new website includes a completely updated design; smoother access to a more comprehensive calendar of events; customized search; and future-facing analytic capacity,” said Photon’s Mario Vallejo. “With a smart, lightning-fast search engine, visitors can now find exactly what they’re looking for in an instant—whether it’s the latest dance performances, classes, auditions, or reviews,” Additional information on the site is available here

“See Chicago Dance, the organization, has grown from what was first a website, SeeChicagoDance.com, 20 years ago into who we are today,” said Executive Director Julia Mayer. “The new site shows our growth and also the increasing demand for Chicago dance offerings. We look forward to audiences using the site for all of their dance inquiries, including performances, classes, resources, our new podcast, Hear Chicago Dance, and so much more.”

The site launch will also feature a completely redesigned logo, capturing the spirit of the Chicago dance community with a sleek dancing flame icon. The designer and thought partner behind the redesign of the logo, Frank EE Grubich of CX & Violins, Inc. shares, "Like the eclectic community that they support, SCD's reach has expanded and evolved dramatically since their initial brand was introduced. It was my intent to capture that movement—that energy—so that it can be applied to all the new ways SCD intends to connect with Chicago's dancers and benefactors. It was an honor and a joy to be a part of SCD's next great act."

Check out this brand new web experience on Monday, March 10th at 12 p.m. by visiting SeeChicagoDance.com–the same URL with a much better interface!
